Actually, probably multiple plans and all the beat writers and fans are trying to figure out their Dotson move.
I had hoped that Rams would make a move at Edge or maybe DL. I thought, and still think that both are bigger needs than IOL.
But Snead is playing chess and he’s pounced on Dotson, surely with the hearty endorsement of coach Wendy. The ripple effects could include several other players’ Rams future.

Shelton
Other Rams moves on their IOL might be forthcoming shortly and we may be saying goodbye to one or more of the above within the next few days.
Shows what fans ‘know’. Myself, I thought Anchrum was gonna be the starting RG, Bruss would be cut, Boom would stay for a year as swing tackle, and Shelton would be starting C. Some of that might still happen, of course.
But now I’m sensing that Rams want an even more dominating and physical OL than I had previously thought. Not a bad thing at all, of course.
I now expect another shoe(s) to fall at IOL.
And I still think we’re gonna see still other moves in the next few days. Possibly at backup QB, Edge, and DL. Maybe at K, too. Snead is surely burning up the phones right now.
Anybody still thinking Rams want to tank this year should probably reconsider.
