I think men were considered much more masculine back then......IMO this "toxic masculinity " thing is a made up progressive idea. Men acted much more like men overall in the past than they do today. The issue with how people act in todays world is due to the laxing of penalties against doing abhorant behavior. Going against a policemans orders is a trend, bashing windows mob theft is a trend, even in your state there is a minimum you can actually steal within limits ($950) this is insane....it all leads towards bad behavior, not a thing to do with testosterone.
