Back in the mid 70s, my Best Friend used to collect Mini NFL helmets and Gatorade bottle caps with NFL teams on them. I was probably 8 or 9 and he was 6 or 7. We'd go to the local Playground where they'd have Adult Softball Tournaments. We'd walk the dugouts looking for the Gatorade caps. I found 12-13 teams but NOT the Rams. Jack found a Rams cap and it just about finished his collection of all 28. For the next year or so, I BUGGED THE HELL OUT OF HIM to let me have the Rams mini helmet and cap. He did not waver. OH WELL! Thought almost nothing of it afterwards. Fast forward to the day of Super Bowl 34......I invited Jack and my Brother over. As you might recall, my Brother gave me a Victory Cigar in a case that he tried to give me when the Rams broke the Niners streak. He told me....You WILL see this again. He was right. When my friend Jack walked in.........The very first thing he did was hand me this....

Personal stories like this are what makes this board so great!
I love it. I like the articles and vids too but the personal side of a poster is always intriguing.!
I like to "learn" things too but sometimes it seems like it's more about showing someone how "smart" they are than actually trying to "teach" people things. Anybody can look things up and post them to make them look smart. lol
Thanks for sharing that Gator. Your posts are always on a personal level, not a "look at me, I am smarter than you" agenda. That makes this board really feel like a Ramily.
