Honestly, if he's willing to sign a contract that gives him money next year, I'd trade Cam Akers and some picks (or another player) for him.
Given the 2 salary cap numbers, I think that's only a $3 mil hit to us. We have $10 currently.
Having a running back who can actually keep defenses honest would be a big plus.
Worse case scenario is he walks and we likely get a comp.pick. (The Patriots tactic)
