Seriously? Why would the Rams get right back into the "pay the RB a huge second contract, and then he nosedives in performance" barrel again?
Sorry RBs', but you are in a hi risk, hi reward position, and the NFL clubs are leaning towards you are just not worth the risk.
There are consequences in life for what we choose, even if we didn't envision it at the time. But that does NOT make it somebody else's problem.
Here's what needs to happen: Big contract, but small base plus big incentives. Get injured and lose some of those incentives? So be it. Guaranteed contracts? Not on your life. Again, the risks for the club are just too big.
RBs if you don't want the risk, don't be an RB. Maybe that's all you can do? Again, so be it. That's life for everyone else in the world....why not for you?
