On the 3rd string C is it McAllister?

Is he good enough to be the reserve to Shelton and move on from Allen.

But also, is the RG situation messing this up. If either Anchrum, Thomas, (Bruss) or even McLendon had grabbed that job, then there wouldn't be the argument to keep Allen at C and move Shelton to RG.

Which I don't like for several reasons. Shelton isn't that big for G (big enough/strong enough just a C ) for an new more powerful/imposing OL!!

And also, if Shelton is needed to cover a B Allen injury, that causes two changes to the OL setup, where continuity is big.

Personally, I wish they had taken another big G in the draft, not unlike the road grader from LSU Seattle took in the 4th ( Bradford). Oh and of course a C who shall not be named two years ago....... but think of that line playing (beating to pulp) the 49ers!

What a dream..........
