Is learning ATC lingo. Or should I say, the ability for it to register. That stuff is taken VEEEEERY seriously! Even Ground Frequency, that we Firefighters used...You BETTER follow protocals and NEVER NEVER EEEEEVER just assume you heard something from the Tower. Sometimes, I'd listen to the frequency for the aircraft and hear stuff like..........."FSCJ Cessna 143, you are clear to taxi to Runway 18 via Charlie / Bravo. Hold short at Delta. Squawk is 34.7658, Ceiling 5,600. Easy to read but Towers make it almost sound like ONE WORD!! LOL And when I was in my last few years at Cecil Field, there were 1 or 2 Controllers who were bonified @#$%&! USUALLY nice to us but I heard one talk to a Student Pilot like he was garbage. Totally unwarranted.
