But the Rams only invested one first rounder in Bradford. And even though he never lived up to his draft status, he sure offered a lot more than what Lance has shown. Stafford was a borderline pro-bowl caliber player when they acquired him. And, as you noted, Stafford brought home the ring and that more than justifies the trade.
On the other hand, Lance will probably be let go next year and I suspect he'll never be a starter in this league. Or, if he does land a starting job, it will not be in a Shanahan type of offense, because he doesn't have the skills required for it.
