I'm sorry, but every time this comes up I will push back.
Half the reason the Rams are in cap hell came after the superbowl win.
Stafford, as the biggest example, was the highest paid player in the NFL in 2017, clearly did not come here to help the team win championships with a cap friendly contract. He took a max deal and declined to renegotiate it as the Rams were looking to see if they could move him this off-season.
Time to pay the piper for all the contracts they gave out after the SB.
