I agree Don Klosterman belongs in the Hall Of Fame, no question, but it amazes me how he & Steve Rosenbloom never got along and even Carroll Rosenbloom could not figure out why. They both did not want George Allen hired as Head Coach in 1978, in fact, they both agreed that Dallas Cowboys OC Dan Reeves should be hired as Head Coach.
Now they agreed on that because IMO, they both Steve Rosenbloom & Don Klosterman feared Allen trying to take power. When Steve Rosenbloom finally got his chance to run the team for a few months after his Father's death, he replaced Klosterman with Dick Steinberg only to have Georgia fire them both and bring back Klosterman albeit for just a few years as he was just a figurehead under Georgia until 1983.
