I looked into buying Florida Gator football tickets for the Tennessse and Arkansas games. I about freaked when I saw costs have jumped OVER 100 PERCENT!!??? I will NOT be going to any games this year. THIS is why I REFUSE to pay extra for the ESPN / SEC Network. I have NEVER bought into NFL Packages be it Directv or whatever. Pro Sports and now NCAA is #%$$% RAPING fans. When the Vols came to town 2 years ago, that ticket could be had for $70-$80 for a cheap seat. THIS YEAR??? $219 ???? And that is BEFORE Ticketmaster "Fees". My Son wanted to go but that is OUT. The Arkansas game. Last year, could have been had for $40-$60. It is now $119....BEFORE fees. A gal I knew in the USAF and her Husband WERE gonna come down from Wisconsin for that game. That's out.
Looks like I'm gonna be doing a lot of radio listening for my Gators and Game time forum for the Rams. GEESH! I really hate the direction that Sports is headed.
