Odell was welcomed when he crashed McVay's wedding.
As he said he would, he played until the wheels fell off - and could have been on his way to SuperBowl MVP when they did. He now has a ring and a repaired knee to go along with the bonds formed with the Rams.
Stafford showed the ability to fully draw on Odell's potential while Odell enabled Stafford to deliberately make throws that other wideouts couldn't make a play on. There is a synergy between great receivers and great quarterbacks that works both ways.
I wish, oh how I wish, that that combo, along with Stafford-to-Kupp, could have stayed together.
To a greater extent, I have to assume, so does Odell - but football is a business.
