It will open the door for others to get some play time in camp and preseason to show what they have got to offer. Kupp should be back eventually so let's use this time the best we can to evaluate the guys behind him.
It also might force McVay to be more creative with his play calling by having to utilize other WR's as the main target instead of always using Kupp.
I want to see more creativity on both sides of the ball this year!
On offense, No more one WR shows. Let's utilize our other WR's too and run game too! Let's not run Kupp into the ground anymore or eventually his wheels will fall off.
On defense, let's "grow some friggin balls" as McVay said. No more Prevent defense or Charming Shell 95% of the time. How about we try not to play scared on D this year and actually find some creativity that will give our young guns a chance to something other than RETREAT! LOL
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
