Very true. Season was so clearly, literally over in the 3rd quarter of week 1. A 38-3 loss that really should have been 55-3.
I went to the game @NE a couple weeks after they fired Linehan. Rams actually put up a good fight that day (led by 3 with 10 minutes to go) and Steven Jackson didn't even play that game. Bulger played well and Chris Long has 2 sacks. One thing I still recall from that game is seeing in person how (sadly) Torry Holt was running on fumes at that point.
Anyway.... what's also amazing about how bad 2008 was.... is that 2009
was worse..... I think those are literally the two worst single season Rams teams in franchise history.
