As I've posted earlier, good men make good fathers. And fatherhood changes a man - makes him broader, deeper, firmer, more compassionate.
In McVay's case while he may spend less time living-eating-breathing football, he will become a better coach, a more complete coach. I'm happy for him, happy for Veronika, and happy for their little one.
A lot of it is foretold in those wee, wee hours of the night, changing diapers.
