He is so talented that he could excel at either Guard position or at OC.
So what, you say?
Well, if 1 or 2 players really light it up at any of those 3 positions then coach Wendy can plug Avila anywhere else with great success.
For example, what if Boom is looking really good at LOT? Then that frees up Jackson for a stud Guard role on either side.
Then let’s further assume that Bruss is killing it at RG.
In such a scenario Avila could be Rams OC at a higher level than either Allen or Shelton.
And that’s just one example. One could substitute names and positions endlessly depending on who shines inside in camp. Coach Wendy has gotta be loving these combo possibilities to arrive at his ‘Best 5’.
My pre-camp prediction remains the same although subject to a ton of variables unknown at the moment.
