IF and that's a BIG if they ever go back to the full horn and Ferragamo's it won't be because of Demoff realizing he was wrong.
Demoff will never admit his mistake was neutering the Helmet horn and spitting on Rams tradition and the legend of Gehrke. He will come up with some other reason for the reversal instead. His pride won't let him admit it.
There is NO doubt in my mind that Demoff doesn't realize or respect the historic significance of the Gehrke horn to the Rams and for the NFL too. THAT is a huge problem that needs to be corrected and never changed again.
Changing the "color" of the horn is one thing, but neutering it is too much.
It will be from all the fans that continue to raise h3ll over how bad the new uni's look compared to the Ferragamo's. It will be due to all those who weren't willing to "settle" for the rebrand and were vocal enough to let their opinions be heard.
It's the squeaky wheel that gets the oil and I will continue to "squeak" until this whole thing has been corrected.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
