here is my prediction:
Rams on paper are an average team talent wise at best. In the range of 7-9 to 9-8 if all goes well and if they can keep Stafford on his feet.
Should Stafford go down again like last season this team is in the running for a top 5 pick, maybe even first overall.

IMO, that is a fair assessment. The growth of the Offensive Line under new OL Coach Ryan Wendell. Keeping Stafford healthy and the ability to run the football. If they are able to do that, then 9-8 there or about, otherwise, they will be drafting early as you so eloquently communicated.
