for the raising of the Flag. We live in a very small town, maybe 7-8 thousand. They constructed a small park across from the Fire Department and Townhall. It's not a big crowd, about 40-50 people in all, but it's a great way to start off the day before starting the cooking at the house. A little speech, a prayer and the Flag......The city of Greensboro (down the road about 6-7 miles) used to have a parade, they stopped doing it 3/4 years ago because it may cause people to feel ostracized......how's that for pitiful......They have a street fair instead......God forbid you include the Flag/stars and stripes with the day......lets sell sh(* instead.
