TBH, if we're talking straight coaching? His ability to overcome better talent on other clubs kind of illustrates that he's among the elite, as a coach.
I can't always equate Super Bowl wins as the ultimate evaluation of a coach.
I don't disagree with you, but eventually you have win one, look at the career of Chuck Knox & Marty Schottenheimer for example, hell even Marv Levy. Now I do believe unfortunately that Shanahan will win a Super Bowl, I am just hoping it is with another team.
