I suspect that Rams have contingency plans at several positions if camp reveals true needs.
Will be strictly 2nd tier players and only if screaming needs at key positions are painfully obvious. Otherwise, I think Rams are willing to give these youngsters a good shot to show what they’ve got to better set up plans for next offseason in 2024.
It’s a business decision that requires discipline but the payoff will be in 2024 and beyond. I understand it and am willing to tough it out this year.
FWIW, I remain convinced that Rams will field a scrappy and very competitive team this year. An 8-9 win season would not surprise me at all.
