We rushed over to this house and a lady about 89 years old answers the door. We ask ...... MA'AM! You ok?? She responds..... No. It's my Mother. I'm thinking the poor thing has Dementia or something. NO! It was indeed her MOM??? In the back Bedroom was her deceased Mother.........107 years old! She was laying there with the most peaceful look. She looked 10-15 years younger than her Daughter. Get this....Her Daughter said she had NO Medical History, NO Medications. NO Family Doctor. The Daughter said that she was born in a Farm House in Georgia. We Firefighters on scene, found ourselves just looking at the lady and saying among ourselves.....WHAT A LIFE!! And she went very peacefully. 25 years later, I drive by that house often and always think of such a wonderful life.
