I was unhappy that they didn't retain him last year.
There might be some health, and mileage issues for him that just are part of the domain that goes with RB. Perhaps that played a role in his release.
I think he can contribute to the cleanliness of the backfield. A key ingredient for Matt to have.
As for the legacy of RBS, and how McVay has chosen to handle them? Well, I'm guessing that the Todd Gurley process has some lengthy shadows.
