Buc Leading 6-5 late into 4th Qtr - 6-5!! I aged 10 years at that game. Rams leading scoring team all season - Bucs defense led by Warren Sapp playing this game LIGHTS OUT. Rams beating teams easily all season but couldn't buy a touchdown this game. Then Ricky g%%7d**m Proehl tiptoes the sideline in the end zone and catches the ball! For about 2 seconds (an eternity) nobody knew for sure until Ricky gets up with the ball - and the stadium absolutely exploded!! I still get goose bumps - no Proehl catch, no 1999 Super Bowl. My personal favorite!

THIS is a bigtime game in Rams lore, no doubt.
Like you said, if Proehl doesn't make that catch, the Rams probably let another season get away so it was the pivotal moment that Rams fans realized a Super Bowl was within reach.
Us Rams fans are fortunate that we have a bunch of hard choices to choose from when it comes to big games. It wasn't always like that.
