Imo, those guys could have taken a 20 year window to prepare (get ready) and they still would not be any good.

They are not good enough to run an NFL offense effectively.

They don't have the physical skills, or the mental toughness needed to compete at that level and ANY length of time would not have mattered because they weren't going to suddenly acquire those traits overnight.

Their limitations were exposed and it was over for them both.

What the h3ll did McVay see in The Wolf? He actually wanted to Start The Wolf over Goff! lol

I think McVay's frustration with Goff might have "clouded" his judgement on that one! But there is no excuse for keeping the Wolf around as long as he did! The Wolf was stealing money! lol
