I liked the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Oakland Raiders. I had seen Rams games since I started watching football in 1976. I finally became a Rams fan in 1978 because I enjoyed watching their defense.
Rod Perry, Monte Jackson, Pat Thomas, Bill Simpson, Dave Elmrndorf, Et. Al. Those guys were always taking the ball away from the other team.
Been a defensive guy ever since.
