It was all I knew. The only team my Dad and Brother watched. Then I saw the Rams beat Dallas in the 76 Playoffs. It's funny...After that / since then, I have had little to no liking of the Dolphins. The last time I got into a Phins game whatsoever was the epic game vs the Chargers back in 81.
I really didn't have any interest in watching football until I saw my first game on TV when I was 10 or so. What hooked me was the same thing that "hooked" most of us here...
Those ICONIC Helmet horns!!! The attraction became even stronger once we switched to the B+Y Ferragamo's. The colors and the addition of the horns on the sleeves were what put it over the top. From there on, there was no turning back. I am just as infatuated today as I was when I was a kid. I still wear at least one piece of Rams gear every day and anyone who knows me knows how I feel. I literally have been called that "Rams Dude" or that "Rams guy". lol
No other team could compare.
I was a Rams fan ever since. During some of our really dark years, I tried to force myself to like another team too. Kind of like a "second" team to root for.
There were a few teams that I "tried" to find a reason to like or root for. Some teams had cool colors. Maybe one or two had kinda cool logos. Even considered the "history" of other franchises like Pittsburgh who always seem to be competitive.
But NONE "hooked" me or "drew me to them" like the Rams did. I could never fully get behind any other team. Maybe it is because I am sooo hooked on the Rams, the "emotional" enjoyment and sometimes pain were never even close to what I felt when watching the Rams so I just gave up trying.
Sure I can enjoy watching another team now and then but as for getting "emotionally" tied to any of them??? It just isn't going to happen. It's like comparing Steak to Hamburger. lol

“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
