If your intention is to "fix" your cap issues.....

during your off season then how is their off season a failure? The issues have been addressed with concern to the cap going forward.

Another aspect to consider as a positive off season was the IMO upgrade in the coaching staff. I have, as others as well that these coaching moves are just as big as having an A+ grade in draft choices, maybe even more so.
