Why? Why would they love it?

I don't understand the point of this 'thesis'. What difference would it make to league revenue? Is Caleb Williams an intl superstar, know round the world?

Unfortunately, the league does not follow the whims of journalists and 'tank' seasons so that someone can play pro ball down the street from where they played college. Why is that a thing? And what, exactly did Caleb win last year? Not the Pac 12
