We definitely need him. He has to hit big and have an impact as a rookie. And I expect that to happen. Teams penalized that guy too much for his height I think, he's a really good corner, a far better prospect I think than Long or Rochell were. He is ready to play.
And if that happens they just have to figure out who's best in that third role. So they have some flexibility too. If Rochell steps up then the Rams probably play him outside the hash and go with Durant in the slot. If Kendrick steps up then he's probably in the slot and Durant and Tomlinson are outside. But if they have two good corners this year they're going to be very close, to the point where it will be about the rush finding the quick pressures.
