Good for him.

Does his college success translate into NFL success?

We hope, but realistically we don't know yet.

All I know is he was a highly touted draft pick, billed as a plug-and-play starter, camp performance tuned the narrative down to "He should be ready to start by mid-season," and then, "He should be getting some playing time toward the end of the season."

Then he got hurt.

I hope he has recovered fully and has put in the work to nail down the RG spot for the Rams for the next ten years. But you can color me not all that reassured or convinced yet. I've seen too many boy wonders come into this league and fizzle.

There are a couple of vets, and some lean and hungry lower draftees/free agent signings that might have more hunger than he does, and Havs said it'd be a competetion. I think RG is Bruss' position to lose, though, and hope he rises to the occasion.

I'll buy in when he does.
