Everyone acts like he's a product of the system but this is a guy who would be succeeding at this level in any offense. He's almost TE sized in his height and catch radius. He's strong and can truck many DBs one on one. He's quick and can separate vs most DBs one on one. He's smart and never takes plays off. There aren't a lot of wideouts who can beat a large percentage of DBs in those different ways. The guy is an enormous matchup problem for defenses and every bit a hall of famer in the vein of other wideouts who consistently beat defenses with a different skillset, be it Fitzgerald or Rice.
All true. And he’s football smart at a level that would make most HC’s green with envy.
