It was a BIG thing to see your team on MNF back in the 70s and 80s. It simply lost all of its punch when Gifford was gone. Even before that, it has been a revolving door of mediocre to lame announcers. On top of all that, I'm just an old fart who does not like staying up till Midnight to enjoy football.
