Both of them selected well within the range estimated. I think they fill both needs and values. Avila started 35 games for a legit program. The Athletic, for example, rated him 40th overall. The Ringer 57th. ESPN 34th. PFF had him 42nd. He's a plug-and-play LG that will bring a lot to their OL.

Turner certainly more of a reach. But more as a 5th round type taken late 3rd. But he could be a nice fit behind Donald, spell him 10-12 snaps per game and maybe play situationally otherwise while he develops. Similar to how Gaines' role grew in years 2, 3.

With Avila it is not the player but our system. Someone pointed that out in detail yesterday.
Turner I think is a pretty hefty reach considering his college play and who was still on the board.
The pass rusher I am fully behind. IMHO the best of the three picks on paper.

Go Rams!!!!!!!!!!!!
