I hear ya, Classical. At times it seems you're right.

But following that philosophy we'd still have Goff and no ring.

Some you lose, and some you win - big. I'll take what Snead brings. Overall (even going back to the Fisher years) he ain't done bad - and to my eye, only when he's compromising with others to keep the peace does he make questionable decisions. Over time, he keeps the ownership/upper management/middle management (himself)/coaching staff pieces together and acting synchronously. And that's a monumental piece of work, in itself. In the midst of all that he's managed to build quite a history, quite a football team.
