If the Rams really, I mean really believe that Levis or Hooker will be the QB of the future of this franchise and have some intention on giving him some playing time, then maybe it's a good move. If Snead/McVay say 'oh wow, the QB is still there, let's take him', then it's NOT a good move. Since I'm not familiar with whatever formula they use to calculate value, it's hard determine what is the right move. Unfortunately, I don't think Snead and McVay have had any great success at drafting besides Cooper Kupp, so I'm not totally confident in their decision making. A lot of the decision should be based on Stafford's health and willingness to continue playing. If he's good to go and committed, then I probably would pass and build him some protection. Of course, this based on whether either player is still there at #36.
