I think mocks serve a purpose. Usually they will accurately predict most of the players who get chosen in the first round. Not in the exact order, but they nail most of the top players. Since the Rams pick early second. At least right now, we get a sense of which group of players might or should fall to us. There are always exceptions of course which makes it a losing measure. For sure there will be a guy who was thought to go in the top 20 who will fall into the 30's. Happens every time. AD fell to us at 14. Rogers made it into the 20's. Brady made it it the 6th round. Every team has their own board. I used to worry so much about all this. I would buy magazines and try to rank guys and predict. I don't anymore. We have a strong front office who does that for us. Kind of makes me feel like an owner more than a struggling scout.
