5 projected starters: Havenstein, Bruss, Allen, Jackson, Noteboom
4 depth: Shelton (G/C), Anchrum (G/T), Arcuri (T), Thomas (G/T)
Generally with OL you're looking at 9 or 10 depending on how much you like your depth. Shelton is a very good depth piece, Anchrum is a solid piece for 7th on the depth chart. They supposedly like Arcuri, at least it seems they do. Don't know much about Thomas but he's a low end talent who brings versatility which is appropriate for a 9th guy on the chart.
So to me it looks like we could not add anyone and if we get lucky with injuries still field a solid unit. Problem with that 9 is there are a lot of "ifs" but talent-wise it's not a bad group and most of the concerns, which are legitimate, center around their ability to stay healthy.
As to quality of the starting 5 I think Boom is a bit subpar for a starting LT. Jackson is also rather iffy for either of those left side jobs, and like Boom he looks best at tackle. But it is possible that neither are good enough. So to my eye at least the need is a LG (because they're probably going to roll the dice at LT for this year). Add a starting quality LG to the mix and now you have two guys duking it out for LT which is good for us, with the loser serving as swing tackle.
Now where can you find a starting LG in the draft. Well, potentially throughout. Granted it's a longshot moreso to get one on Day 3, but it is possible. And worst case what you get Day 3 is a depth piece for the pipeline, i.e. you take a guy who has some upside to maybe be a starter, and let him compete with Anchrum in camp.
So to answer your question 43... Yes it is possible they do not address OL until Day 3.
