I was down on him a bit, but he played the season at 260. He looked sluggish at times.
Still a big time motor. still explosive first step.
Then he showed up at the Senior Bowl and looked fantastic at 241 lbs. So I thought maybe ge was going super light to be more athletic and not so stiff. It worked.
Then came the combine, 6' 3" 254. 4.54 40 with a sub 1.6 split. That's shows burst. You add that to his 34.5" arms and his power and he can eat up lineman in a hurry.
Rams love senior bowl standouts with high character. Hall had a great senior bowl. Team captain, teammates and coaches lovechim in the locker room. won a community spirit award. Was a finalist for Jason Witten man of the year award.
His 9.37 RAS places him 98th out of 1535 DEs since 1987.
He checks every box the Rams look for. He's not super bendy and will not flatten the corner, but he is an absolute beast speed to power rusher with strong hands and a red hot motor.
