I love the idea of outscoring opponents but we have almost nobody to defend. We have AD and Jones and 9 question marks. You might get it down to 8 if you expect Fuller to come back as a plus player. Or even 7 with Hoecht showing signs of flashing at edge. Our top two CBS are gone. Maybe we can hope for Durant.
6? There are only unproven first and second year players everywhere else. None of these are even high picks. It's sexy to imagine a KC-like scoring machine with Stafford lighting up the sky with bombs everywhere and us getting 30 plus every week, but right now, our trash D will allow 50 to the best teams and 40 most other weeks. How are we supposed to beat the Niners? They'll triple team AD and they have the RB, WRs and Kittle to chew us up. They'll collapse the pocket by overrunning our puny OL and smash our QB. They will not just win but hurt us. Bad. I'm really getting worried.
