Getting things done early this year for a couple of reasons ... first? My time management has reached almost "competent adult" levels. Second? The chatter as we get closer to the draft might have an effect on me and there's simply no new info that will be coming out this month. Third? These tend to get lost the week of the draft. I'll still do my "Top 2 rounds" draft week.
Also, since these get buried quickly, if you want to search for a position group, just put "Blinkscout 2023" in the search bar and they should all come up.
Another note ... defense usually has more players on the lists because of special teams play.
This is a weak year at the top. Anderson barely gets a top 10 grade from me. I was going back and forth on it. But once you get into tier 2 it evens out quite a bit and then we have a lot of solid talent before getting to guys that are riskier. I want a solid talent. I feel like we will likely still land one with a trade down. All logic points to edge with our first pick. But that means we definitely won't do it. I like that we met with McDonald and Hall ... so we know what our 2nd and 3rd rounders could be if we really liked them. If you're curious on characteristics, check out Deadpool's top 269 ... he and I rarely differ on players abilities.
This year there were some notable combine snubs.
I want two from this list, preferably 2nd and 5th rounds.
I'm trying to be more stringent on my grades, but guys will generally be rated higher by me than others because I imagine them in their best fit.
I try to delineate between guys that "should" be 4-3 ends from those that could play standing up ...
I'll italicize my targets ...
