So I am not sure he's an edge at this level. I love his film at USC to include his rushes but the NFL is a big step up on the blindside and we tend to collect strong side rushers as they're easier to find than the blindside guys.
His greatest value is his versatility. You can move him around and get production in different ways from him. But I wonder if he's going to be a 5T at this level when all is said and done and he gets his full growth, which generally includes a heavier frame for the big boys like him.
I agree McDonald seems like a step up, in terms of he looks like we'd plug him in day one and he'd give us that blindside rush we lack. Tuli is definitely in that next group, though his versatility is very intriguing to me. He is the kind of player you want to add to play teams like SF because he brings strength at the point to the discussion as well as some rush.
