McVay must have done some incredible string-pulling over the course of a few critical weeks to get him reoriented toward contributing, but at what expense to mental energies that could have - should have - beenm focused elsewhere?
I hope Cam gets dumped for a pick, swapped in one of Snead's trade deals for something-someone. Anything we get now would be worth more than what he would bring after another year, gambling the short odd on his likely injury and/or petulance.
Dump him now for whatever Les can get, or gamble on his character and health before he gets cut later with nothing in return. Besides, as a football player, we've seen his upside pre-injury - and it's downhill from here.
Dumping a productive RB right now with this roster so depleted at so many positions? Does that really seem like the smartest of moves?
