THE USFL starts up again this coming weekend. I think there's a definite need and a desire for a spring league... but not for two leagues. I just don't think there is enough support or interest for both the XFL and the USFL to survive. IF one of them survives (and it's possible neither of them will), I am curious as heck to see which one it will be. I'm rooting for the XFL.
but you never know...a spring developmental league is a great idea--but as you say, year-round football is probably a saturation.
Gun to head, say USFL would win out in long run...but just a guess based on brand
