Since I was 9 (1976), I dreamed of seeing a Rams Super Bowl. After we beat Dallas in the 79 Playoffs, I busted out of my house and did a lap down our street, yelling "HOW BOUT THEM RAMS!! WOOOOOOO!!" I was literally sick after we lost SB 14. From then on, I always thought that when the day came.....IF it ever happened, I just knew I was gonna be a freak, screaming and running around and acting like a fool. But when Jones made THE tackle, I pumped my fist three firm times and rather quietly but boldly said..... "YES! YES! YES!
Pretty much did the same.
Of course, that quiet celebration took place AFTER throwing a full, unopened bag of Doritos at the TV, when the Titans started moving downfield on their last possession. And old Doubting Thomas was CERTAIN that the Rams were gonna blow it.
The bag didn't break, but my wife DID cast a sideways look of "what is wrong with you" at me.
