I think that's dependent on the obvious nature to compare an existing ten year vet to an extrapolation of someone just joining the league.

We're going to make comps ... the comps will always be rookie to veteran. That will ALWAYS be unfair and inaccurate because we're using #s to discuss something as complex as an NFL career. I did mention knowing work ethic is important in my original comment, so I was obviously talking about the probability of working with the unknowables.

He could come in and blow his knee out two years in a row and be out of the league. Doesn't make the comp less valid.

When you look at the players, the stature, the numbers, the quickness ... it's kinda silly to comp him to anyone else. It's a rare athlete who can give up 40 lbs and win consistently in the trenches. So I don't have anyone else to compare him to ...

The odds of him having Aaron Donald's career are low ... but that low-ness is not based on who he is as a prospect, but who he will be at the next level.

Do I think he will have an Aaron Donald level career? No.
Do I think he's a ten year starter that could record double digit sacks every year and be an all pro often? Yes, I actually do.
