a 17 game schedule has to include a "no play" game for the starter, imo.
certainly, taking snaps off to give the "move" QB some opportunities.
in a year that's already looking to be a challenge roster-wise it has to be addressed
suspect that Wolford remains rostered.
Knows the book, and is a camp arm, but competition is mandatory. perhaps they get a June 1st candidate in the way of a vet.
but if they end up deficient in protections, a young college guy sure would be wise.
