It seems there has been a shift in free agency the last few years, where the big names with some mileage linger much longer as teams now try to fill spots through the draft with cheap labor, then go bargain shopping after the draft to fill needs they missed in the draft for veteran free agents.

fit, maybe that one missing piece, not a "hey that guy is going to the Hall of Fame, let's grab him" . . .
