It seems there has been a shift in free agency the last few years, where the big names with some mileage linger much longer as teams now try to fill spots through the draft with cheap labor, then go bargain shopping after the draft to fill needs they missed in the draft for veteran free agents.
The middle class has vanished as teams are now built around a few stars who take up most of the cap and young guys on rookie contracts with a few middle class vets sprinkled in....good news for the Rams is that there will be some value out there after the draft to fill some needs....I'm guessing a a few value positions of need like DB, EDGE and OL will be options post draft.
I have a feeling the Rams are working on getting OBJ back as we speak....
