Floyd, Lewis, Hollins, Hoecht, Thomas and Hardy combined for over 2,000 defensive snaps last year. That's a lot to find for 2023. I can see Hoecht giving them 650 or 700 (because he won't be an every-down guy) and maybe Hardy can take on a bigger role (300+). That's still over 1,000 snaps by edge rushers to find somewhere. It's why adding a guy in the Draft that can contribute immediately is important. Can Keir Thomas also develop into a rotational guy? He averaged 12 snaps/game their final five games of 2022. And they'll need to add a veteran jettisoned elsewhere at some point.
